Redwork Peacock Update

Just thought I would post an update on the big peacock that I am doing in redwork. This is a slow go project as I only work on it when I have snippets of free time. I use this mainly to relax with when I am on overload. I guess I need to bump him up to "lets finish you soon" category or he may just take forever to finish..lol I am sure I am not the only one who has slow going projects now am I. Anyhow, here is a pic of what I have done. I decided to do the flowers and branch before I finished him that way it will look like I have a lot less to do. There is quite a bit of stitching on the bird himself, not that I am complaining because he is going to be beautiful. But, I would like to feel like I am getting something done on him at the same time. Which I know I am its just so slow in the going. Hmmmm........yes I will definitely be bumping him up the list to get finished with soon. Happy Stitching,
Wendy

oh that's coming along QUITE nicely! It's going to be gorgeous when you finish.. I am trying to finish up some stitchery myself if I could drag myself away from the computer long enough :-)

Love it, Wendy! Are you doing this in back stitch or stem stitch?

Hi Wendy,
I popped into your site from Scott's Blue Nickel Studio. Lovely piece of Redwork you are doing. I like Redwork, embroidery and hand-stitching and need to have projects like that to, as you said - "relax with when I am on overload". I am in need of a kitchen handwork project so going to start that today. Helps with the waiting while cooking and for my husband to get home from work time!

Thank you ladies for your nice comments. I cannot wait to see him finished myself. I have enjoyed this process. I would like to do another large peacock design only this time use true peacock colors to work him in, but of course that is on my never ending to do list.lol

Lil, thank you I believe if you click on them you can go to the site and download them. I have enjoyed reading about your church activities. God is so good! I have added your ministry to my prayer list.
