Scrim Play Two.....

I am so in love with this technique....and I have been having such fun playing with my threads, bits and lace....
cutting it up and putting it back together in a different way...
so many ideas running through my mind....I had to start writing them down in my EEC journal to keep a record of my thoughts on this technique...and of course now that I have written in the journal I will need samples to go next to my thoughts on the subject....
which means more scrim play in the future just for the samples that I will need...:)
the bit above is one of my favorites...it looks like it has been quilted with all the puckering....so wonderful...sigh...
With this technique there is no limit to the creativity that is sparked by the project...which leads to more titivation's...and further exploration of the cloth...
sigh...such wonderful thread play going on here...french knots, bullion knots, more french knots...
loving how these little french knots speak to my heart....
 loving the side view here...
A group of lovely knots and wrapped thread beckoning to me once again to pick up needle and thread...

popping in to say hi as I have not visited for a little while. Love what you are doing.....all that white lacy gorgeousness. What will you make with it?

It's gorgeous, Wendy! No wonder you keep wanting to pick up your needle and thread! I missed Karen's Lace class, but I've been peeking at the wonderful results, and I adore these lace bits being created-every one unique. Happy stitching!

wow!! I am lost for words! This is really beautiful, Wendy! I always sound like a broken record but no other word can describe your lace work except for perhaps gorgeous, lovely, and stunning!!!
