Catching Up

This month has truly flown by and I have not posted anything on the blog. I do apologize for that, but I have been really busy more on that at a later date. I have started a new slow cloth that I will be stitching on over the next few months. No deadlines. No pressure. Just something to stitch when I have a few spare moments. I am using white fabric along with some of the batik fabric that my son had gotten me. I really like the pop of color amongst all the white.

A large spool of para cord my dh bought...I cannot wait until he empties out the spool, so I can have it.
I have also been doing a bit of fussy cutting this month for two projects. One for me and one for a swap that I am in. More on both of these later, but I did want to post a sneak peek.
I also have three quilts ready to be quilted. I am thinking about hand quilting them, so will be a while before they are finished. I have also picked up my Natures Journey quilt again and am in the process of appliqueing those blocks as well. Hope to have pics of that soon. I was hoping to be able to share pics over the weekend, but have not had the time to take them yet. Will be back soon with updates and more about my secret project. Keep those needles stitching in the meantime.

Hi Wendy - slow & no pressure sounds like a good prospect to me... enjoying the process of making things is just as important as the finished item...
Your fussy-cutting is stunning, those fabrics are amazing!

sometimes we just have to do, the writing about it isn't the important thing, life just gets in the way sometimes, Have fun with the slow stitching, looks good
