First Finish of August

I have finally finished this little quilt.....and let me tell you it was a bear.......I used fleece for the backing because my dgd just loved it.......this will be for her......it moved around a lot while I was quilting it.....this will be the only quilt I ever do this way......it did turn out nice and is what she wanted......I'm just glad that this part is done and I can now mark this as done....yay!!!!

    Thank you! I have often been tempted to use a fleece backing. Now I know I was right not too. I'm not that experienced and I am sure MY end result would have been a disaster.

    Wow, Wendy! You have been busy! I love the quilt you did, but understand why this would be the only one you would do. :o) I also like the diamond tutorial and your preserves look delicious!

    The quilt is lovely - I've often also been tempted to use fleece and my LQS won't quilt for me using fleece - nor if I use woolen blankets LOL - I need to teach myself to quilt!
