Today is my day in the Dare to Dresden blog hop hosted by Madame Samm and Christine from Quilt Monster In My Closetas our lovely cheer leaders. If you have time please go by and check out their blogs as well. I love the dresden block and have made several mini quilts with them and given them away in swaps. I had one already cut out from when I made one for a swap and in my ufo's so decided to put it together for this hop. It still needs the binding and that will be done Monday night as I don't do any sewing on Sunday's. I do have a stack of fat quarters of Bliss (you know, waiting on the perfect project):) left that I am thinking of making a full quilt with.
closeup:
This one is still in the beginning stages and has also been sitting in my ufo pile for over a year. sigh...I hope to finish it this week as well if my time at the sewing machine increases. I still get so tired after being in the hospital, but am getting there slowly but surely.
Please take time to go and visit all the girls that are on the hop for today. I know you will enjoy seeing all the great dresdens that are going to be made. I am the fourth on the list for today!:)
These are delightful...may you be blessed with extra energy and time to be able to complete these soon! I am looking forward to seeing your completed Quilt!
HI Wendy..great dresdens...very pretty..if you like for us to add to our pinterest board...you may have to disable your block...or send some photos to me and I will add..
Rosemary B here: Good morning dear Wendy! I adore your dresden places. I love the color combinations. The finished one with the free motion quilting all around is gorgeous! I really like the second one too. Lots of possibilities! Thank you dear for sharing. Well done
