Feathers.....

More practice with the feathers...this will become a pillow since this was a practice piece...there are quiet a few mistakes, but I am continuing on...these are actually much better than the first ones, so there is hope...I just need to find my groove with these I guess...so more practice in my future...and a closeup...

    What a coincidence - I am doing a three day quilting workshop for beginners, and on the third day, Linda will be showing us how to quilt this feathers design! I think it will be a while before I'm up to your standard though :-)

    This is fantastic feather stitch quilting. I have learned this technique but never felt like persuing it myself although, like you, I was really happy with my first piece.
