A Finish and a Start

I have finished my second "Sunday Shawl" in the autumn colors. I am very pleased with how it has turned out. I have also started my first ever knitted socks. I am enjoying the making of them, but it is slow going. I hope I will become faster the more I knit. Right now I knit at a snails pace. Not like crochet at all.

  1. a very pretty shawl. i'm also heavy into knitting right now. i made my first toe up socks a couple of years ago in a Craftsy class. we don't have much need for wool socks here in central Texas but i wanted the experience of knitting socks.

  4. Beautiful shawl, lovely work. I hate knitting socks - just when you finish one, you have to make another.

  5. I am quite envious of your knitting Wendy. I used to knit all the time for my ''babies'' when they were tiny and also as they grew into toddlers but it's been such a long time....
you are creating such gorgeous, warm looking pieces
