I have thought long and hard before posting about this project. As anyone who reads my blog knows that I have a love/hate relationship with knitting. I wanted to try one more time for a sweater. I don't know what happened, but it seemed to have clicked this time. This is the first of four pieces for the sweater and it is coming along nicely. I am now at the decreasing stage for the sleeves on the back of the sweater. I hope in a few days to start on the front and then move on to the sleeves. I am so stoked about this project and hopefully it will be the first of many sweaters to come. I am using Lion Brand Wool Ease in Wheat for this one. Off for a cuppa now.

I made a sweater when I was 13. It was beautiful with large cables on front, back and sleeves. I did a great job and received an A+ for grade...BUT, it hung past my knees with equally long arms. Would have fit a skinny seven footer. Haven't tried again. Someday.
Yours looks very professional. Keep at it.
It's looking good! The problem I have with knitting, and crochet for that matter, is the joining up bit! I hope you will join me at Bits'nBobs on Monday for Design Board Monday, I would love to see you there.
