We are now empty nesters, with both of my younger children going to college and graduating. They have both chosen to stay in TX, where they have jobs and apartments. My son is engaged and will be getting married this coming June, so a lot to look forward to. This January will mark the four year anniversary that my lovely dad left this earth to be with the Lord. My mom is hanging in there and we celebrated her 86th birthday this past August. My oldest daughter and her family are doing well. The boys, Riddick and Whizzer are doing good as well.
As for quilting and stitching, I have been continuing both. With covid and the lockdowns, I have made quilts, fabric books, stitcheries and worked on the seemingly endless ufo pile. Which has been nice to see dwindling down over this past year. Yay for a smaller ufo basket to work from!
My sweetheart and I just celebrated 32 years of marriage! It's been a wonderful ride so far and we are looking forward to the next 32 years!
That's pretty much an update on what has been happening in my world since my last post. I'll be back on January first to start the new year off with a post. So, if your still interested in my blog, I will see you then. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
