A quilt for Bliss.....
I joined FNSI again this month and I worked on a project that I need to finish before fall. My sweet middle daughter is going to ministry school in the fall and will be taking this quilt with her. Friday night I started sewing the blocks together. I finished four blocks and have seven to go which I hope to finish later today.
Once the blocks are sewn together I will be embroidering certain scripture verses on the gray sections of each block. Each verse has special meaning to her and there are also a couple of sayings that I will include as well. This quilt was a special request from dd before she leaves the nest. Of course I am using the "Bliss" line of fabric as this quilt is for my Bliss!:) I thought it would be a novelty for her to have a quilt made of fabrics with her name. We laughingly call it a Bliss quilt for Bliss.
Keep Stitching,
Wendy

What a beautiful heirloom that will be for her, Wendy. So special to have favorite Bible verses hand embroidered on to the squares. Her friends at college will be envious!
